How do I preview my link pages?

Link Administrator enables you blend your links pages with your existing site design. To do this, click the "Format links pages" tab.

Step 1: Select the View/Post Links Page tab

Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click preview Link Pages



Where will I host my pages?

Link Administrator gives you the option of either hosting your links pages on your own server, or we can host them for you. It is highly recommended that to get the full benefit of the link pages, the pages be hosted on your own server.

Hosting pages on your own server or an account you have with a web hosting company.

If you choose host the pages on your own server or a web hosting account you have with another company, the first step is to select the "I will host my link pages on my own server" option and fill out the corresponding fields.

The "URL path of your link pages" and "Master link page file name" help Link Administrator set the link addresses for the navigation on the link pages.



The "Link page extension" is the file extension that the pages should have. Examples of file extensions are .html, .htm, .asp, .php. The most common file extension is .html.

Hosting pages at LinkAdministrator

If you choose to host your link pages at LinkAdministrator.com, simply name the root link page. The URL of your link pages will be shown below.



How do I post my link pages on my server or through a web hosting account?

Link Administrator gives you two options for transferring your link pages to your web server. The first is by downloading the files and then using an FTP program to transfer them to your web server. The second is to use LinkAdministrator's built in FTP feature.

Downloading the link pages

To download the link pages, press the "Download link pages" link under the "Post/Download options" heading. This will allow you to download a .zip file with your link page files included.

FTP pages directly from Link Administrator

Step 1: Click the "FTP Link Pages to My Server" under the "Post/Download options" heading.

Step 2: Fill out the FTP information and press "Save FTP information."

Step 3: Press "Upload links."
